Metro Pure Water
Most people know they should drink more water. Plenty of them still reach for a soda or a second coffee instead, because plain water from a cooler is, well, plain. Flavored water stations are built around a simple idea: people drink more of what they actually like.
What a flavored water station does
The DropWater Refill station we rent pours still or sparkling water from one touchscreen, with a choice of flavors and optional boosts. It runs on the building's water line, filtered on the way in, so there are no cans, bottles or jugs to restock and recycle.
Sixteen flavors. Twelve are sweetened with monk fruit and four are unsweetened, so there is something for people who want a treat and for people who just want a hint of taste.
Four boosts, including a caffeine boost for the afternoon slump.
Still or sparkling, chosen per pour.
Lots of servings. Each flavor box holds 472 servings, and the station can be loaded with up to 10 boxes at a time.
Why it changes habits
A flavored water station turns a chore into a small choice people look forward to. Someone who would never refill a bottle from a plain tap will happily walk over to try a new flavor or grab a sparkling water instead of a soda. Teams talk about their favorite flavors. The break room becomes a place people actually stop.
For employers it is an easy perk to offer. There is nothing to stock beyond the flavor boxes, nothing to haul out to the recycling, and the station is ours to service.
Where it fits best
Offices that want a visible, everyday perk.
Plants and warehouses where keeping crews hydrated through a hot shift really matters.
Gyms, clinics and lobbies where guests notice the details.
Companies cutting single use plastic, since every pour replaces a can or bottle.
